International Conference and Workshop on “Recent Developments in Seismic Isolation and Energy Dissipation Applications”
Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku, Azerbaijan
2 October 2026 (Friday).

This conference will bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners to discuss recent advances and practical applications in seismic protection technologies. The program will cover the design and testing of seismic isolators and energy dissipation devices, as well as their integration into buildings, bridges, and industrial or power-plant structures. Special attention will be given to the retrofitting of existing structures and cultural heritage using modern seismic protection systems.

Key topics also include the development of codes, regulations, and design guidelines for seismic isolation systems, as well as structural health monitoring of equipped structures. The conference aims to foster knowledge exchange on improving the resilience and safety of infrastructure in earthquake-prone regions.

Leading companies such as BP,  SOCAR, PMD and S. A. Dadashov Scientific Research and Design Institute of Construction Materials will be invited to participate in the conference.
